Hello! I’m Nate Mancini. I believe there are important stories that need to be told about important themes that need to be understood. And I believe video is today’s most powerful medium for mass communication.

TL;DR: I make movies.

My Biography

I grew up in Rochester, NY, but spent a year and a half living in London, England from 2000-2001. I was homeschooled through 12th grade, after which I attended Grove City College in western PA. I majored in Marketing and did video work on campus for a variety of college organizations.

I’ve been making videos since 2005. I started out making stop-motion animated films and gradually moved into live action by 2009, the year I started college. I wrote and directed my first feature film, Asleep in a Storm, during my senior year of college, after assembling a cast & crew of about 50 students and professors. It premiered in April 2013 at the Guthrie theater in Grove City, PA, to an audience of almost 400 people.

I married my wife Megan in November 2013. We live in the Rochester, NY area. We enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, cooking creative meals, watching great movies, serving with our church, and spending quality time with friends & family.

In 2015 I co-wrote and co-directed the short film Pastime, which went on to win “Best Western NY Short” at the 2016 Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival and a “Movies on a Shoestring Award” at the 2016 Rochester International Film Festival.

From 2013-2017 I worked as the full-time Video Producer for EarthLink, a nationwide network services provider. I coordinated and executed all of EarthLink’s video production. I personally wrote, directed, and edited advertisements, tutorials, webinars, customer testimonials, and event videos.

In my spare time I direct an organization I founded called Forefront Festival.
